Title: Looking for an old AGS version
Post by: Hobbes on Thu 24/03/2005 21:24:47
Hey all,

I've recently begun toying with Buccaneer I again. For some mysterious reasons I'm not really talking about. :)

However, it uses Proskrito's old SCUMM interface which is incompatible with later AGS versions. Since I've happily been upgrading my AGS, I don't have an old version lying around anymore...

Buccaneer was last compiled succesfully in version 2.56.623. Does anyone know where I might obtain a copy?

Roger (AGS IRC bot) has a file called AGS_256d.zip, I guess this is it.

I am getting it now for you, will upload it to a site once I got it.

Edit: Nevermind, see below

I don't host these files. They're only links.
Some files are located on CJ's servers, some are hosted by a-v-o (hence "Courtesy of a-v-o").

Is there a page that lists all the versions and gives a download link? I know most of us have them all on our harddrives, but for people using opensource code or old templates, we need a place to link them to, to pick up the old versions of AGS.

Yes, my list has been moved to the Wiki: http://americangirlscouts.org/agswiki/index.php/AGS_Version_history
