Yesterday I saw a review (http://whatculture.com/comics/arcane-secrets-the-curse-of-the-mottled-tentacle-1-review.php) of a new magazine called Arcane Secrets, which seems to be a kid-friendly version of Lovecraft (bizarre, isn't it). The reviewer compared the issue to Day of the Tentacle, and it actually reminded me of my longtime idea of making a DOTT/Lovecraft crossover game.

I'm curious whether anyone on the forums checked this stuff out, and what do you think about it.
I absolutely like the idea. Seriously, Lovecraft's myths were already a shared universe when he was alive and people kept pouring their ideas into it. The original setup is cosmic horror, yes, but the iconic monsters allow for a lot of leeway. There's been an RPG "Cthulhu Saves The World" even, and it was glorious. And let's not forget "Hello Cthulhu", which has all the cosmic horrors stuck in a Hello Kitty sugar bowl world (laugh)
Lovecraft can be criss-crossed-over with anything (nod)
And just the cover really sells it to me. Very nice style, I'd defenitely check it out.
I only have the baby's book "Baby's first Mythos" and it's great. I love this stuff. :-D:-D
The kind of thing that drives church people crazy. There is a PnP RPG called Pokéthulhu, which is a mash-up between Pokemon and Cthulhu, where kids have to catch mythos creatures with ancient artifacts and then train them to battle!
And there is a toy that always puzzled me:

And then there's the youtube series Calls For Chthulhu...
And The Adventures of Lil Cthulhu.

Does that means Lovecraft is a kid's thing?
