Title: Manny Calavera´s poem to the moon
Post by: Nacho on Sun 03/08/2003 22:32:07
Somebody remember the poem that Manny says to the moon in Grim Fandango? There is an Url where I can get it?

Thank you, I really need it.

There's at least one stanza (I believe with good reason) plaigerised by this blogger
http://coffeegeek.blogspot.com/

It shone pale as bone as I stood there alone
And I thought to myself that the moon that night
Cast it's light on my heart's true delight
And the reef where her body was strewn.

perhaps that can help you find the rest of it.

Ah, that brings back memories...
I love that poem... ;)

I think it was how the moon, not that the moon, though it's not much of a difference. :)

yeah, i loved that poem. loved the whole game too! hope they make a sequel someday.

by the way, anyone tried giving the paper in lola's coat to glottis? he'll sing a cool song then. it only works if he's still sitting behind the piano in the calavera cafe.

there's a reference to the poem in an amateur-adventure named "Cubert Badbone: PI" (wasnt made in AGS).
