I saw this on OSNews today, and was blown away. What is it, you ask?

It's a game for PC, Mac, and Linux. Coded in Python, the setting is the desktop of an Amiga-like computer in 1988. Connect to BBS's, get away with telephone fraud, have an online relationship, get into nerd arguments, pirate software...

And by far, this has been the most brilliant thing I've seen in a long time. It has a sort of charm to it that I find unrivaled in many games today. Definitely recommend it.

Played it a couple weeks ago, it does a great job at making you fell like in 1988 but it's somewhat lacking in the gameplay department. Some puzzles or a little bit of Uplink here and there would have made the game better IMO.

Yeah, it's atmospheric, but it's basically an interactive movie (or maybe interactive novel?).

I like it.  Getting quite involved.. but everyone's stopped talking to me... not sure what to do now.
Good though.

Beat it.

Really a brilliant game. The writing was gut-wrenching, and now I'm led to wonder if there was more than one ending.

Also done.  Great story.  One of those ones you wish you could have come up with.

Spoiler
typing in those phone numbers over and oer again was starting to get on my tits, but I perservered beause I just wanted to see it the story through.

One question...Why couldn't I just make a copy of Emelia's build, and use the copy of her to kill the Reaper, while keeping the original Emelia safe and sound and ready for lovin'?

Yeah I remember seeing this a game a month ago and downloaded and played it at work.  I really enjoyed it.  Tis was a nostalgic moment where I used to dial tons of BBS's as a kid and get told off for it by my parents.
