Darth, I have car and there are a couple of nice cities to visit in the road to (Pyrinées/Touluse/whatever Francittens will be made), such as Valencia and Barcelona. If you want to come, you (and Grundy) are invited.

I regret to inform myself that once again I won't be able to make Mittens this year. I really would like to attend one of these years, but I'm planning my own adventure which I like to call: "Moving out of my parents house (finally)"â,,¢.

I'm also moving to the opposite side of the country (from Texas to Oregon), so my expense sheet is a bit high this year.

However, pending where my life takes me over the next year, I may or may not be able to attend Mittens '09!* 8)

What would be Awesome is a Mittens Tour.
Whether it be cross-American or Cross European or something.. we all just jump in cars and do a road trip.

Or how about we book a load of us on some great railway journey such as the one that goes through Russia which I can't remember the name of.

Also Vince should open his home for a week and we'll all get to try on the cheese hat.

but HELLO Eric and Jess  Hope you guys can make it, and if your fear of flying is still persistent, why not ask for some sort of job shadow opportunity so you can be in the cockpit during the flight? That should ease your concerns.
