Speaking of the maid: I must say that the making of the beds was v-e-r-y unnecessary, I think she should have spent the time on other things. Other than that I'm very satisfied about the house. (oh, a measuring cup in the kitchen would have been handy.  And if I'm whining, some more power socket converters would have been handy (having provided one was already a n unexpected luxury.)

No standard kettle, but the place too good to really care. One bonus point for a limping janitor man.

I don't want to bicth-a-lotti, but minus 50 points for my mono-pod disappearing and never returning home. Can't believe I lost it, it's not hard to miss... And I just wish Perugia airport had better connection from the UK, it would've slashed travel times by about 90%! But yes, in standard English, I'd give the place and service 9/10.

EDIT. Oh, and Wifi. 10 out of 100. The wifi seriously sucked, they should do something about that. And 10/100 for sausage thefts, too  :=

Phew! It was couple hours going through these and adjusting levels and resizing individually (to minimal benefit no doubt :/) but I have posted 134 of my Italy photos to Facebook. Those of you lucky enough to have me as a friend may have already viewed them, but for the rest of you...LOOK!

All the Italy footage is nicely edited, I'm yet to film the rest of the stuff and haven't been able to recently cos my car's been out of action, but that's changed in the last few days, so it's on with the final shots and stuff.

If you check back past midnight GMT tonight, I'll have a special "cos Mr Spanners is over-eager" official teaser trailer online with a link here, but I can't upload just yet.

The final piece is still aiming for October 31st... :)

Thanks for the interest, but no bomb please!  ;D

Mittalia and the surrounding travels were definitely highlights this year, I love and miss you all as well :S

Now that we are Januaryish it is almost time for a thread to begin for the next Mittens methinks. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again this summer :D

Mittens reminiscing would be a tad easier if we had a video put together though! (wtfcj :P)

I'll be the first to say it Ken, and others, I'm not a big fan of Ireland. In theory it sounds great, but after talking to various Irish old timers, they say it'll be very expensive to accomodate 20 people. But you also know me, I'm only really in it for the cheaper options, I'm happy to sit this next one out if it means we can have a cheapo the following year :)
