Someone else will probably have to help put down the deposit with their card, if that's alright. Thanks Berian. I'll make sure you have an "alright" time I appreciate you guys considering the finances involved here & the slight date change but; lets do this!  8) It'll be awesome!

The house can accomodate 24 people using 3 sofa beds.
Private equipped pool, gazebo and barbecue.
Rental cost for this week is 4400 euros. Included: electriciy, water, bed linen and towels, house cleaning 2 days per week, wash machine.
Extra: refundable security deposit of 1500 euros, 100 euros per sofa bed per week, final cleaning 18 euros per person (Min 200 euros).

Calendars on sites like that only tend to get updated when the property owners bother to do it anyway. So you never really know if a place is *really* available until you contact them.

Yep. The owner said it was still free on those dates a couple of days ago. I told them it's a definite yesterday so I'm just waiting a reply. If they booked it to someone else in that two day period...goddamn! But I don't think they did. I'll let you know when I know

Final details of this place...

Sat 31st July - Sat 7th Aug

The up-front payment is 1760 euro, just under 74 euro each.

The final payment there will be 2640 euro, 110 euro each.

+ 18 euros each for end of stay clean.

Heating is 6 euro per cubic metre, so presuming we don't use any, it'll amount to 0

Total of 202 euros per person.

A security deposit is required to be paid on arrival at the Villa, that amounts to 1500, just under 63 euros each. You will be given this back at the end providing no-ones gone through a window or anything

265 euro total, 63 refunded to you at the end.

Now, who is willing to pay the up front 1760 and let the rest of us pay you back??

Understandable. I'm buying a car this week so I too need a few weeks to raise Mittens funds. Thats why it really needs someone to make the initial payment, but that's quite a lot to ask. Ideas?
