I finally got gobliins to work. The reason is wasnt working before was something with my sound card, which I still dont get. The only way I have got it to work is to shut off the sound. I played it as a kid and I always remembered the sound effects being so silly. After about a half hour of playing I found myself making up sound effects when things happend. I had been doing it with out noticing. I though that this was odd. Do you think that knowing that there was music/sound effects the game. I knew what the sounds where and I was making them without intending to. I dont know, I may be crazy. Does this happen to anyone else?
Are you talking about Gobliins 2? I used to play that back in the day too. I loved the sound FX. ;D
As for your sound problem, have you tried running it with http://ntvdm.cjb.net/ ?
I've tried it, just not very hard. But once I head them I remembered them for what, like 6 years. I mean, thats a long ass time for sound effects.
