Post by: DanClarke on Wed 09/02/2005 22:41:35
First of all apologies for not being around much, but ive been absoloutely swamped with college. This is my new design website which has some of my art, graphics and photography work on it. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Hoping to pick back up on TLOTLL this spring but im looking at easter earliest realistically. It still lives though, so dont give up hope.

I've never minded pop-ups, as long as they aren't ad-ridden filth, whats the problem?

2 little tips for ya:

In your portfolio, the different windows that popup when clicking on one of the thumbnails need to have a title set (<HEAD><TITLE>This is my title</TITLE></HEAD>)

And why is everything a gif image? For photo's it's generally better to use jpg of png for compression format. Cuts down on the size considerably in some cases.

Nice site though.

yeah the site was put up in a day, so it was quite rushed in some senses, but ill look into both your points. I also didnt really think about jpeging the images when i uploaded them, but youre probably right, especially with the photographs anyway. Thanks for the feedback.
