I need a screengrab of the alley next to the tavern in the town of Spielburg from QFG1. Unfortunately, I don't have the discs handy (they're in storage on the other side of the state) and I can't find any screenshots of it online. Can anyone help out? Either the EGA or VGA version would be fine--I'm not picky. Thanks!
if someone can tell me how to grab a pic from a program that takes over the screen I can do it.
For somereason PRTSCN isn't grabbing a pic and I can't figure out how to force the game into windowed mode
ScreenThief - DOS version is a very popular one... but you'll have a haaaaaaaaaaaaaard time finding THAT version.
Yankee Clipper workes great for grabbing screenies of most anything (even when some programs or games which usually are stubborn to allow a screen capture normally). You still use the "print screen" key to capture the screenshots, and it can store multiple captures.
There's a "Shareware" version you can get over at thier site:

I do a have copy of thier earlier relased "Freeware" version (which works great), so if anyone's interested in the freeware version can contact me (PM or email), and I'll set you up with a copy.
or you can use dosbox ...
Hey, I just remembered, I already have that screenshot:

Thank you!!
In case you need further screenshots, you can google has an "image search", I use it a lot of the time when I need screenshots.
Just google for QFG1 within the "images" tab.
DosBox is the only way! CTRL + F5, saves it as the original size in the game and in wanderful PNG format. ;D
