Hey everyone, I'm doing an Indiana Jones game (as many of you know) and also wanted to do a separate talkie version. I need voices for Indy, Marcus (who only plays a small part), Indy's Dad, the villian (who is an american nazi), some new characters named Jonathan Tobias and Bryce Nelson, the girl, Jessica Alexandria, and some extras.

Just record your voice (if you sound like the character) with these lines:

Hi, I'm (your character's name here) and I'm from the new Indy game, Indiana Jones and The Cloak of Elijah. Hope you like it! Email me your sound clip at frodomaniac12@yahoo.com or jttobin@rapidnet.net

I seriously think this is your sixth topic regarding this game.  Don't get ahead of yourself.  You already have an ACR post, you can always edit that if you need help, or use one of your many other threads.

In my opinion, you won't get people willing to help you now.  Not until you have more than an idea to show for yourself.

Please, don't hype this game so much until there is some real progess made!  I'm not a moderator.. I'm just annoyed ;)

Agreed, also do you even have any of the game done yet?

My advice is focus on the game, voice files are super easy to add to the game and can be done when the game is finished.

Actually, editing and adding in sound/voice files to a game blows. Its super boring and tedious. But I agree, it should be the last thing on your list. It was on mine.

Good luck with your game! Though please take a moment to read the forum rules where you will learn that if you want to post about recruitment or something similar, you've gotta have a substantial amount of stuff to present first. Use the General forum for brainstorming :)

Or as pointed out, your ACR post or make a new post in there. It can be as scrappy as you like, but the more you post post post the less likely people will trust you. In this forum we prefer to see well thought out designs. It doesn't take much to whip up a little concept art.

Serious posts mean serious games. Your post is Gravitttyyy, man.

All else said if necessary I'll do Indy's dads voice ;)

PS Ionias - nice avatar!!

Sure it's boring and tedious [AGS automates some of it now, I believe] but it's far easier than making the entire game, wouldn't you say?

Generally, it's good to have a game to add voices TO, as opposed to a game built around voices.

Just a FYI.  ;D

Yeah, i have quite a bit of the game done; my internet's so slow, though that it'll take a while to upload the game. I plan to upload what I have so far though, kind of like a 'rough demo'.
