Hello guys,
I would like to know what the limits of nudity and gore is for creating and posting a game.
Shall the limit be max when a character is being displayed naked or
is the limit when the 2 characters is in the middle of a sex scene?
So you get my point. ;)
Regards,

I don't think anyone has ever actually posted a really explicit game yet, although I beleive there are some in productions. I think as long as you make it clear with plenty of warnings and dont actually put any explicit shots on the forums, there's not a problem.
Whatever you feel you want in YOUR game!
Just be sure to post a warning for more sensitive people.

Aha, ok. Thanks for the fast replies. ;D
I guess it's fine unless it's supposedly illegal and taboo to the extreme. If a game was based on glorifying raping, pedophiles, or for example snuff porn, I would say it has no place in this community no matter what warnings you attach to it.
Wow Ildu, you gave me a great idea for a game: "Snuff Porn Tycoon"
I think CJ once said that the limit for a game being on the AGS games page is the British legal definition of hardcore porn, which is showing an erect penis (I took this as meaning that the full frontal lesbian scenes in my game are ok). I guess he'd get in trouble with his ISP otherwise. But unless you want the game on the AGS site games page, and can find a place that allows hosting of pornographic material, there's really no limit beyond those of the law in your own country and in the countries of the people you expect to download the game.
Edit: That doesn't just cover sexually explicit material by the way. For example, if you display a swastika in your game, it's illegal to download it in Germany. So make sure to do your research.

I\'d personally be worried about the developers AND players of any games of this nature. Luckily our community is far more creative than this - and usually sensible enough to put appropriate warnings up.
This topic and the question has been covered now, with some good advice - and I don\'t want us to really go into it any further. GarageGothic makes a good assumption about Chris\' actions & wishes - he could well get shut-down if there was incriminating material posted here.
The bottom line is, people under 13 are visiting this forum & website all the time - so please, keep them in mind. So long as your game & any of its promotions have a detailed warning, I\'m sure you\'ll be fine :)
