Here's a cute, bizarre and unique looking low-res adventure game that I just backed. (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ghostinabottle/octopus-city-blues)

Wow.  I could actually FEEL that video diddle my brain.  I'll be backing this weekend, for sure.

It's a very intriguing game.  The video was fantastic.  I really hope it gets funded.

Looks like it could be AGS! Anyone know what engine it uses?

What I can glean from a quick skim over the website (http://www.octopuscityblues.com/) is that they have their own engine, but used RPG maker at some point previously.

The website's pretty cool, actually, and also they keep talking about the Ghost in a Bottle (http://www.ghostinabottle.com) company as being some huge global conglomerate.  I'm not sure if they're planning some weird alternate reality stuff, or just having a bit of fun with an unfinished website template.

As for the game.  It looks great, but I'm going to refrain from backing due to skintness.

Tentacle cutting is WRONG! 8-0

But other than that, this looks really cool. 8-)

It's curious and pleasantly weird.

Their company page is hilarious.  It took me a second to realize that its a parody of cheesy corporate web-sites, their stock photos, and jargon.  I'm debating backing it.

Edited - Backed the game, went for "Useless NPC" donation level.

I wish I had the money to back this.  It's very cool.

I agree, the website is hilarious.  I spent a good deal of time yesterday reading through the various pages.  Definitely worth it.

The colors are gouging out my eyes.  I love the style and detail, though.
