Older games like Mir En Muir

What's happened to 'em? I know they're old but that old? I tried using the search engine but it brought up something else / didn't bring up Mir En Muir at all and didn't have any other threads either.

I can't remember the title of it , but there was this one game inspired by Larry Loader and it had the song Ruby by Tweaker in it. Thanks to that game I learned of the song and fell in love with it , I have a copy in my music collection. However it's been a long time since I've played the games , I know they were short and monotonous but that's what I liked about them , so I wish I had them again. Any information on these and other such older ( specifically dark and depressing materials that I can identify with ) projects would be greatly appreciated. Please and thank you. I didn't know where else to put this but I figured the best place was here.

Mir en... do you mean Mourir En Mer? Ain't that still there? And the oldies too?

Dorcan (he who wrote Mourir en Mer) redid his website. Everything is in a kerfuffle there, so there could be a problem with the hosting for the game.

As for other games, I really couldn't help you.

If you know the specific names of the games you're looking for, you'll maybe be able to find them with someone's help in there. As for me, I have no idea which game you're talking about.

Also, if you're a Firefox user, AGA (I think) has created a plugin that allows you to search the AGS games database from the comfort of your own browser toolbar. It's really quite handy, and is also consequentially how I found the link. It even searches game descriptions, in case you can't quite remember the game's name. Searches for 'Larry Loader', 'Ruby' and 'Tweaker' haven't garnered any results, but you might be able to come up with something.

I have yet to search for a game I couldn't find, though I'm admittedly a lot newer to the AGS scene than you are. Good luck finding your games, and welcome back to the forums, for what it's worth.

I did indeed make it. However its efficacy is due to CJ's well-written database search, I can't take any of the credit
