New developer (http://www.abborado.com) (site isn't actually launched yet, though) is apparently planning on making a trilogy of classic, 2d point-and-click adventure games for PC based on the history of Japan. Good luck to them, I guess.

It does look excellent! I like the characters more than the backgrounds, but they go well together.
