I hope I'm not boring you, talking about my game all the time.. it's just that.. I'm so happy...  :'(

Check out this review!

"Other Worlds is probably one of the best, if not the best, adventures of 2004 â€" and that includes both Independent and commercial -"

"So, where are you international development teams? Don't let talents like this get lost just because they are not in the right place."

What more could I ask for?
That's it, I'm changing my will, Chris Jones gets everything.

No, you're not boring us...but it might have been better if you had just put this link on your thread in the Completed Games section. But congradulations, in any event.

I downloaded your game several days ago, on another computer, so I have to wait a few weeks before I can get into it. But it looks like it will be highly entertaining.

Just Adventure consists of very big number of people. You can't possibly hate *all* of them.

Khris

I browsed a bit through the site and found that they (justadventure.com) think of Myst as the best game ever (Hall of Fame's first place).

What does that tell ya?Ã,  ;)

Rui 'Trovatore' Pires

I've seen similar comments before, and am genuinely intrigued. JustAdventure seems to have a bad reputation. How come? I generally like their reviews, myself.

Yes, Layabout, that means you can get started. ;)
Reach for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Kneel. Now.

Never throw chicken at a Leprechaun.

Gilbert

I'd never read those adventure sites and I didn't care about their reputation. But the reason khrismuc posted is fairly enough to account for that. ;D

P.S. I had never played MYST either.

Rui 'Trovatore' Pires

That's rather harsh, isn't it? There are many kinds of adventure games. Myst is just another kind, of which I'm also particularly fond of. As regards reviews, they shouldn't be influenced by such personal preferences - at least I HOPE they're not.

I think my favorite game ever is Gabriel Knight. Should this statement be used against me every time I share my opinion on something?

As far as reviews go, it's detailed without giving too much away, enthusiastic, balanced and carefully written. It's a good review, no matter what publication it's attached to.

Of course, it helps that I agree with their rating for this game, and the reasons for this rating! :)

I think Other Worlds deserves it!

I'm playing it... I'm a little bit stuck, but I prefer to suffer a little and try to solve the puzzles by myself before looking/asking for hints...

I repeat, there are several people writing for JA, and they don't all share the same views. If some of their reviewers' preference for Myst offends you (as it offends me), what does the C+ Review of Monkey Island 2 tell you? I believe the author of that particular review should not be allowed to touch a computer for the rest of his life. I know however that the owner does not agree with any of this, but would we rather have someone who forces censorship into the reviews? Just Adventure is a democratic site, they keep adventure gamers informed, they keep a very neat and organized forum, and I like all that, even though I do not agree with some of their reviews. Now, if Other Worlds gets a second review with a 'D' mark, I may reconsider.. :)
Oh and Bombadil, that's the spirit!
