My game is finally ready after 3,5 years of making! It has entered the final beta testing process and the official release date is December 1st.

It is looking good. Nice history of the game you have there. Its cool how things change, and you find a better platform for completing your game.

The graphics look nice enough. You have an interesting graphical style, incorporating cartoon charactors with photo backgrounds. It's good to hear that the strength of the game is the storyline, as that is one of the most important parts of adventure games.

Keep up the good work.

Looking good, looking good! Enjoyed the preview - hopefully that 7 years of work will pay off when it's finally released..looking forward to it!

Thanks for the support guys. Well, the previewer exaggerated a little, sure the idea began 7 years ago but that was a different game, Other Worlds is in fact a 3.5 years old project (which is still a lot!). It took me so long because I don't know if I'll ever  create a game again, so I wanted to make sure that I'd make something sizeable. And I did, Other Worlds is a much longer game than the average amateur title (and quite a few commercial ones).
I'm not an artist so I had to use some outside help when it came to graphics, hence the real photo backgrounds. Not all of them were real photos though; in the screenshots you see, only the one outside the house (with the car) and the river are real. The landscapes, for instance (see rocky & icy screenshots) I created them myself using Terragen.
I trust that people who will bother to play my game will be satisfied with the story and the puzzles. I spent hours tweaking them, always having the games we loved as teenagers in mind.
I will of course never forget that none of this would have happened if it weren't for Chris Jones (I'm a good programmer and the script I created is a clean, easy to debug code, but a workman is only as good as his tools, and AGS was an AWESOME tool), all the good people in this forum who were always eager to share their wizdom, and of course my loyal beta testers.

Oh, by the way, are you looking for beta-testers? ;)

My beta testing team is full, thank you.. why would you want to test the game for bugs three weeks before its release anyway? It will be much more fun if you play it when it's out, without me asking you questions and telling you what to do all the time. :)
