Title: Parodies of Classics
Post by: Loco on Fri 30/07/2004 20:52:11
How do you find graphics from classic Adventure games and use them in your games (eg. in Carver Island or QFG4.5) if you wanted to make a parody ect. ???

Depends on what game you want.. If it's made by LEC, you can find Costume Rippers and such. If you want Sierra, I think SCI Studio would help you with older ones. AGI Studio would be for the AGI ones..

Not sure.. I'm not big on using someone else's backgrounds :-p

I'm no expert but load up the game, go in to the room you want to use and take a screenshot (press prt scr) import it into ags

It should work but not to sure.

it would kind of work...

but all rooms would have characters and objects in already and good luck trying to get the walk animation.

the only way to do it is to do what LGM said.

Well, the PrintScreen does work. It just depends how good you are with graphics programs already. I've done tons of ripping from games using only the printscreen function, completely getting rid of characters, objects, and even whole sections of rooms.
