Title: Peasants queast
Post by: on Sat 12/02/2005 04:30:16
So....I played this game called "peasants quest" from homestarrunner.com and I have got to say I was AMAZED at how cleverly disigned it was.Ã,  a parody from kings quest,Ã,  I'd say its the best flash game i've played.

Aye, we all liked this (the H*R fans anyway) when it first came out:

Some of us even got all the points available....and let me say they are truly the most awesome of us all *cough*

Still, glad you liked it, and welcome aboard. :)

You know, I was wondering whether PeQ actually uses an AGI interpreter for Flash (FLAGI?), or if it only seems to.

Although possible, I don't think a FLAGI is developed.

Wow, I totally thought this was gonna be a post relating to the new ad for the Peasant Quest movie ^_^ Somewhat timely...

Yeah, the trailer is awexome (sic)... But it's a SLOOOOOOOOOOW loading movie, so I'll link to a mirror.

I linked to the movie trailer a few days ago- there's a whole bunch of mirrors here (http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/Peasant%27s_Quest_Movie_Trailer#Temporary_Mirrors)

Yeah, I saw the trailer a few days ago, too. Looks kinda Monty Python-ish. So is this something that they're really making? (and will hopefully be viewable on their website when they're done)

I doubt that they would put it on their website because there were enough problems with just the Peasant's Quest movie trailer on the website. Too many people trying to view it at one time and I think that this is the largest file on the website. If it is real then they will most likely release it on DVD.

I don't think they're actually going to make a full version of this one- unlike the trailer for the game, this doesn't have a release date on it. Also, a lot of the shots (the guardians, the "Not tonight he doesn't!" bit, and a few others) just wouldn't work in a movie.

Though I must say, if they DID make a full version for release on DVD or something, I'd sure buy it!
