As some of you may, or may not, know; I'm well underway in a VGA remake of Police Quest 2. I would like to use a map screen for navigation, (Gabriel Knight). I was wondering if anyone still owns any of the paper resources for any of the games. I'm looking for an illustrated map of Lytton.
if someone has this and could scan it for me I'd really appreciate it.
Having no scanner in a time like this is really a pity, because I do have the map that shipped with the PQ Collection (B&W, dunno if the thing ever came out in color).
But check out www.replacementdocs.com. I did, and I found a hit for the map (didn't check it, though). Just search for Police Quest.
I visited Rui's link and went ahead and screen capped it. I really don't have anything better to do.
It's B&W and pretty low resolution Zooming in will only give you blur and artifiacts, but it's a start. There are certain buildings labelled pretty clearly, but others are labelled in 'black pen', which is pretty much illegible in this image. I tried to make them out but the only things i could get were "Hospt." which I'm assuming is the hospital and various apartment buildings labelled "Apt."
How's the remake going, by the way?

Remake's going great. I got some unexpected, & much needed, help and support. I know that map exists in colour. I've seen it, when I was younger. I've got to find it; until now I couldn't remember what I was looking for.
I have a copy of the map, but it's b/w, too. Unfortunately, I don't have it in colours.

I know there's a colour map in Police Quest 1 that looks just like B&W image. I'll just play the game again. The Police Quest 3 map is so small. I hope there's another option. If only it were "film-noir", I could leave it black & white.
