Fantasy AGS games?

Don't ask me why, but for some reason I prefer the fantasy genre of adventure games to others. Maybe because I grew up playing King's Quest.

Anyway, there are four AGS fantasy games I have played: the AGD Interactive remakes (3) and A Tale of Two Kingdoms. All of those were excellent. I'm wondering if there are some other great ones? Most of the AGS games seem to be sci-fi/horror/modern-day/humorous with fantasy in the minority. Not to say that many of them aren't great! It's just that I am in the mood for playing a fantasy adventure game.

How about the Apprentice games?

The Apprentice games are fantasy, with some humor. In that vein, there's also Awakener, Cedric and the Revolution, Damsel, Knightsquire...

Hallway of Adventures is another good one. And depending on your definition of fantasy, A Second Face might be up your alley (it's kind of sci-fi/fantasy).

In a more traditional fantasy style, there's also Quest for Infamy.

Thanks, I'll be sure to try those. I've seen some of those games and discriminated against them based on the screenshot (the graphics don't look "serious") but they're probably games I would enjoy nonetheless.

Also, Quest for Infamy hasn't been released yet, correct? If you're talking about the Infamous Adventures one I read the other day that it's probably a dead project...

There's also:
Cirque De Zale
Infamous Adventures' King's Quest 3 remake (but you probably played that one)
Loftus and the Sky Cap
Once Upon A Crime
Quest For Yrolg
Principle of Evil 1 & 2
Spooks
The Winter Rose

Yeah, I meant Quest for Yrolg, not Infamy. I knew it was the opposite of glory!

Hi, how about:

Fynewrylst Memories: The Secret of the Golden River   ;D

It's actually a remake of my own game made with 'Basica' 20yrs ago.. a 9yrs old kid who is a big fan of King's Quest that time.. :P

I guess the game title already said it..  ;)

How about trying the demo of Frantic Franko the winner of Best Demo Award 2009? The full version isn't that far off either. If you like dwarves in your fantasy, it's one of the only two AGS games ever created  that cast you in the role of a dwarven warrior - the other being Wooly Rockbottom. Well, there is also The Dwarven Dagger Of Blitz, but you're just some peasant there.

Other than the games already mentioned in the thread, I've seen Escape From Evergreen Forest being recommended a few times, but the download links are down.
