Can I get my old Sam and Max to run on XP?

Hi everyone,

New poster here. I just bought Sam and Max hit the road off of Ebay, and it turns out it is the original shipping of the game, as it was not designed to run in windows. (at least, so it says in the help.doc that came with the game). Are there any emulators out there that can get me to run the game? I have tried everything I can think of for XP and '98, and it wont run on either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,
