Oh the underdogs... I have NO idea how to get listed on that site. It's like when Dana International (the Eurovision song contest transexual) tried to break America. It didn't matter how much of herself she put out there, it just wouldn't stick...

I think they're more to do with abandonware, not freeware aren't they?

Bionic Bill

I think they do freeware. I know I've seen a lot of freeware stuff on there, including a good deal of ags games. I haven't the foggiest how they end up listed on the site. My guess is that it is up to the whims of whoever runs that place. Would probably have to mention VPXT on the underdogs forums or somesuch. If anyone else knows anything about listing on underdogs, feel free to speak up.

I like the website because it was made with flash.  I instantly respect anything made in flash.
I fail at art.

I once looked at the forums, and there were rules like "please don't come here to plug your game! We already have enough to write about" or something.

I think you must have to know someone who knows someone...

As such, if anyone here knows anyone at the Underdogs, please could you plug my game at them as I'm a really REALLY nice guy!

MrColossal

Scid used to do reviews of AGS games at The Underdogs... But I suppose that doesn't help anyone...
"This must be a good time to live in, since Eric bothers to stay here at all"-CJ also: ACHTUNG FRANZ!

Just a hunch, but I think getting leisted there may have to do with whether the gal who runs the site has played the game -- she seems to like the adventure genre a lot (over something like action games, anyway).

That's purely speculation, though.

Captain Mostly

Why? What happened to Scid?!?! Did I miss something big?

Ozwalled

No idea -- I'm just saying that she seems to like the adventure genre a lot, and that may factor into the equation.

Captain Mostly

I guess I'll have to try envagle myself into the clique...
