*cough* anti-aliasing tutorial *cough*

Ah, forget about it. On a serious note, it's nice to see the zine back. More comments when I've read it.

Pet Terry

Oh, no Mittens report? I'll just release it myself, then.

How wrong to use your Ezine to bad mouth Iqu. whether you are right or wrong is not the point, you should have kept it professional. Say that you have creative differences and don't mention it again.

The rest of the Ezine wan was nice.

Vel

GG& Petteri, I must have completely lost my mind! (GG, that happens for the second time with your tutorial and I am truly very very sorry about it :( )
Feel free to release those works yourself.

Jet, true, but I wouldn't call delaying an article several months 'creative differences'. I should have taken things in my hands way earlier, though.

Well, we don't know what the problems between you two were, but the way you wrote about it in your editorial is really unprofessional. Naming names in such a way is just not done.

HillBilly

I don't seem to have the right font, so all the letters were dots to me.  :(

True. It's not any of our business what troubles you guys had.

Also, from a pragmatic point of view, it means that everyone spends more time talking about this in your thread than they do the contents of the ezine...

Woohoo!  A review of Da New Guys!
Excellent writing, Vel, and I'm glad you liked it - an AGS award would be sweet!
(Oh, but by the way, Ice Cold was supposed to look like that  ;))
Cheers!

At the end of the day, the ezine is in need of a writer. ¬_¬

voh

I'd offer to help, but to be honest, there's not much to give me much confidence in seeing things get published on time and in a good manner.

And should I ever miss a deadline, I'd rather not be slandered by you :P

Maybe you need to focus on getting the ezine released regularly, even if you can only do small installations for now. If you show you've got heart for the thing and will stick with it, then people will be more interested in helping out. Build some trust :)
Still here.

Renal Shutdown

Odd.
Vel sacks me, and then publicly bad-mouths me, yet he still uploads the ezine to my server..

But in all honesty, I thought it was funny.  Reading the comments here before the ezine, I was rather disappointed by the lack of bad-mouthing in the ezine.  Besides, Vel also mocked himself with the "..not paid, only commanded and constantly bugged".  Never a truer word.

Good luck with all the future issues, Vel.  And again, sorry for delaying this one.

I never meant to badmouth Iqu, I just said he delayed his material too long. And I think he is a nice guy, too.

Remco

Nice Ezine...as always. I liked the article of The Amulet of Kings, great job Vel, looking forward to the next one.

PS: i guess i could try to help, but my english isn't well enough for it.

I good read. I enjoyed it and look forwards to seeing more of this Ezine in the future.

Ã,  Ã, I felt a bit flattered by some of the comments in the interview with Sam Gray (Zooty) and when asked about some of his AGS favorites from 2005, he mentions that "The Great Stroke Off was a work of genius..."Ã,  ;D Heheh.

Thanks Sam, I've never been referred to as a "genius" before, but I'll accept it.Ã,  Ã,  Then again, GSO was a team project, so I can't take all the credit. All of my fellow team members are very talented and helped to make the game the wacky yet wonderful game that it is.

Best regards.
