Title: Scanning backgrounds
Post by: widdlywiddly on Mon 01/03/2004 23:32:43
Does anyone use direct scanned backgrounds (precoloured) for their games, instead of complete digital composition or working on a scanned outline?

I expect it might be tricky to get the bkgrounds to a nice size... but not impossible  ???

check out Aaron's Epic Journey. All painted backgrounds

shouldn't be too tricky, draw a box at like 6.4 x 4.8 inches and draw in it or something in the same ratio and just reduce it in a paint program

12.8 x 9.6 would be a good size, draw it, paint it, scan it reduce it and WOOP
