Heh, after trying to find out whether there was a walking dead or not I ended up playing through the entire game in my lunch breaks at work. Finished it today

Its an interesting find, especially seen as I can't find any other references to it. Guess you can start finding things in Monkey Island II now...

Wow, I was the only one thinking I've done that. There's a way out of your situation. I recall playing the game , then replaying it I got carried away and dumped about everything inside that pot. Don't recall if I loaded the game back, but I'm sure I didn't. Drop the cereals into the pot and get a new pack of them.

Without replaying to check I don't think that'd help. When you use the cereal in the pot Guybrush doesn't put the entire packet in, and he won't burn the cereal anyway.

Sorry Dual, but after you've already arrived at Monkey Island, Guybrush completely refuses to put anything else into the pot.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned it is in fact a walking dead. I've tried every single possible combination of inventory items with the fire, fire with the items, items with the pot....etc., etc., etc. If anyone's really interested, I can upload the save game file...y'know if you're looking to prove me wrong.

Can the black chest in the brig be opened, btw?
