Title: Sixth Sense Investigations
Post by: MoodyBlues on Fri 17/04/2009 14:11:51
Has anyone ever actually played this game?

From the playthrough, it looks pretty terrible - graphics are a mess, translation is jumbled, humor misses the mark - but I CAN'T STOP WATCHING IT.  Maybe it's because the story is actually pretty good.  Or maybe the craptastic voice acting has a hypnotic effect.

It's funny to see how many Amiga games looked so similar (the whole huge nose/eyes European style).  There's another Amiga adventure game with a style almost identical to this where you're working in a rest home.  They could have been made by the same people but the big nose style was very popular!

That is the fugliest ghost I've ever seen. Or is it a Trekkie? The orange skinned pair are pretty ugly too.

XD  The ghost always shows up in different outfits.  A pretty clever idea, I think, but starting off the bat in a Star Trek costume just confuses people.

Oh wow! I owned this game! It was bugged though, I was near the end of the game and a glitch made me stuck for ages.. I found the solution and it still didn't work. I realised it was a game ending bug and I started ALL OVER AGAIN and this time round the game let me get past where I was stuck! Grr. But there was about ooh.. no other point and click games around at the time so I was happy with this! (I had to mail order it as there weren't any Amiga games in the shops anymore by this point) It was on CD-Rom.

Yes, why did they get that guys voice and make it deeper for??
