Title: Something about this site that's piqued my curiosity
Post by: DBoyWheeler on Sat 23/03/2013 21:01:06
I'm curious... with regards to AGS.

Which AGS user has so far made the most games overall (either some or all games by himself, or some or all games with help from a team...)?

And which AGS user has so far made the most games in a short amount of time (alone or in a team; by "short amount of time" as in between, say, two to four years)?

I'm just curious, because I want to know who amongst us has proven themselves the most die-hard!

If you factor quality into it, I would say Yahtzee and Ben304!

After Yahtzee and 304, I'd say Baron and Radiant made an impressive number of medium-to-full-length games. Most people seem to have enough of "epicness" after one or two longer titles.

Maybe also Ponch? :)
(Although not sure about timeline)

Clearly THIS must be the most prolific forum member:

Just look at the game list!

I put out a few games every year. But it looks more impressive than it is because I've been doing it for ten years now.

My money is on Ben304 (especially during his high output phase a few years ago, before he started making longer, more complicated games) or Yahtzee. Of course, Icey beats everyone for sheer output.

http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/mostcredited/.  For sheer numbers you were 2/5.

This list counts testing as being credited. That's why Arjon is number 2 :).

(And that's why I have 12 credits myself)

And m0ds has loads of credits because he did music for so many games in the early years.

Ha! My coin is on Radiant for most games authored. But I'll probably lose it to Ben304 or Ponch  (laugh)

Ben304 and I did a tally recently and figured out that counting up all our short games, hour games, OSD games, and actual releases, we each had about 25 or 26 games each, I forget.  Ponch probably wins, though.

This (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/mostcredited/owners/) is a list of just the first listed people (usually the owners).
