What the-- make it English! Are you trying to cater to every single language except the ones who are most likely to have played the original game?
This game is awsome looking, but you're only hindering its popularity by not translating it to English. I do not think LucasArts would shut you down-- I doubt their lawyers even know what Zak McKraken is. Think-- they shut down a few MI fan games before EMI came out. Do you think they're working on a new Zak McKraken game?

Please make an English translation. I bet most of the people here would be happy to, even if they don't speak German (it's simple, just run each line from the translation source through Babelfish, then fix the grammar. If there were any problems, they could IM you or a German speaking friend.)

(I'd be happy to do it myself, in fact. I'm good with dialog. ;))

I think Thunderstorm, a German AGSer is translating from the original German to English.

Hey LucasFan... Why don't you just make a TRAnslation file for the original game? :)

I'm just curious.... and I'm glad that you finally are going to make the game in English! :D
Thanks!

I don't think so. As far as I know, Parrot is loro, and Papagayo (o Cometa) is Kite (at least where I'm from. this may vary per country). Tranlator.Dictionary says that Parrot is Loro and that Kite is Cometa, and I can't translate papagayo....

Yes, loro is the common word for a parrot (at least, here in Spain). Papagayo is also a parrot. I've just checked, and it turns out that papagayo is also: a fish (Labrus bimaculatus); an exotic plant (Caladium bicolor); a kite [as netmonkey said]; a bottle with a special shape [used in Argentina, Peru]; a venemous viper [used in Ecuador]; someone who talks too much [generally used in America].

That's what i got from a spanish dicctionary website. It's interesting and amusing to see how the same word has different meanings depending where you are in the world. This also happens with english.

I'm now officially offended. Let's boycott Spain!

Edit: Back to the weird word thing, parrot in Norwegian is papegøye.

Ok, NOW I'm offended. Don't EVER post a screenshot of an adventuregame with Norwegian text EVER AGAIN!

My eyes, they burn!

Honestly, I'm freaked out here.

Edit: If you couldn't tell, I'd have to answer no if you asked me to betatest the Norwegian version :).

Papagayo is a kite?  I always thought kite was "papalote"...of course I speak Cuban Spanish, which, like every other form of spanish, is different from the others.

Ok, I made the spanish translation. Papagayo is a kind of parrot with a multi-color plumage and it has the ability of speak. Loro is smaller than Papagayo and its plumage is green (in general). In this screenshot, Zak is in Brazil and Papagayos are vey common in Brazil.
