Ahem, you do realise what a "pizzle" is, don't you? Or is that why you used it as the title of the thread?

Not that my 2 cents will matter to you guys any more than any other currency I've put in to any other thread around here, but...

I think, every one of us, should pull together, finish our games and make them commercial. Not only sell on the internet, but how about in real stores? Advertise on TV with the rest of them?
All these adventure games with great stories, we can slap them in right next to those World of Warcraft and Bejeweled type games they always have and give people something new to play. Hell, maybe adventure games would have a better chance at a come-back this way.

Heh, maybe we can invest in our own section in the store too called, "Adventure Games".
Now, all those "Detective" type games and first person adventures and Myst clones can be thrown on the shelf next to the Bejeweled and Sims games... haha. See people, THESE are adventure games. Play them, you'll like 'em.

The internet is a vast oasis of oppertunities and options, but... Jesus, where do most people go when they want to buy a new game? Well, at least around where I live anyway, we go to the STORE.
I always tend to think as well, that people appreciate games more when they buy them with physical money and have the box with a manual in it. They would be more apt to finish it (story/puzzles, etc, put aside) then let it be forgotten and rot on their harddrive after only playing it once after they downloaded it for free. Damn, they probably would have liked it too.

I believe it's quite possible. How this would be possible, I have no brains on the subject, but it's just an idea anyway.

There.
There's my two cents that'll just get lost in the laundry.

Think of it like the AGS Apps Store, a summary of downloadable content. Only thing, is I'd want to see playability on portable consoles, PSP, NDS, etc. That would be impressive. But, its all about awareness and demand.
