The Life of Tom & Occasionally Dan

I happened to think of this a little while ago and figured, why the hell not upload this?
This is my unfinished primitive Marty Shore game I started making in highschool.

You play as me. That's pretty much it since it's unfinished...

There's two ways to leave the school which changes things when you get home. Tell me what you think of this unfinished classic (classic in my head, anyway)...

Snake Pit Entertainment
Once you're there (shit's giving me problems) go to the address bar and type "tomadv.zip" after snake_pit_entertainment/. Sorry for the hassel.
ZIP - 1.90MB
It was created in VB6
Please read the README file first.

If it'll let you, for some reason it doesn't work for me, right click this link and save target as...

While you're at the site you might as well have a look around - beware though, it hasn't been updated in years. To see the other games click on "other". The links on the front page don't work anymore, except MoNKeY WReNCH.

I hope you guys enjoy what there is to enjoy,

Dude, why don't you just post this link and tell people to RIGHT CLICK and SAVE AS... ? Works fine for me :) About to have a go, too...

Edit... From what I've played it's pretty cool!! The art is really nice. Any reason why you decided to use Visual Basic? I'm going to play it properly later, because I keep getting busted by Miss Westcot... :P Also, if you're using visual VB, you might want to tell your forms to start central in the screen, they're a bit all over the place at the moment...

Anyway, good stuff!!! :)

Thanks, Mods :) I tried the save as trick, but that's the "shit" I was talking about - that's why I did the web page thing. For some reason it won't let me save as... it saves the html.

The programming class was teaching VB, so that's what I had to work with. I don't own a copy of it myself or I would add on to it. I know more about AGS anyway, so I'd rather make it with that. I tried to get Ms. Wescott to give me a copy of it - that went over well ;)

Thanks for your responce,

The backgrounds look nice.
But AFAIK this board is for AGS games only:

Quote from: Announcements forum rulesThis forum is for the posting of completed AGS-made games.

You might want to ask a moderator to move this to the "Adventure-related talk and chat" board.

Oops - heh, should have known better ;) Thanks,
