Title: The Neverhood
Post by: spud on Tue 17/02/2004 00:31:56
I got a game today called The Neverhood today and it is ace. It is a point and click but it is all clay animation like morph. It cost me 40p from a charity shop as it was in the CD basket so they just thought it was a CD.

I advise you to check it out!

Heard it was a good game, but please don't use all CAPS when posting. It gives the impression that you're shouting.

It's a neat game. Fun game. Ingenious. Nice puzzles. Cool story. Horrible atmosphere.

I don't think the atmosphere is horrible. It's disturbing but perfectly made to create that feeling.
It's an excellent game, I enjoyed it a lot when I played it some years ago.

the atmosphere brought back childhood memories for me because i was scared of morph on the tony hart show but it is good that a game can do that.

I like the twisted atmosphere.  It was a great game and rather unique in feel.  My only problems with it were technical ones, namely a few interface quirks, game bugs and a couple of poorly designed puzzles.  I killed *so* much time playing that game, mostly because I read all the story-text in the hall of records and everywhere else.
