;D There's an adventure game coming in stores! It's called Final Destination: The Secret of Larson's Folley. The site for this game is:
http://www.godcentric.com/thekey/finald.htm

Here's a quote (or paste, or what have you) from the page:

..............................................................................................................

Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã, The planet Larson's Folly was hit with a stellar shockwave at 7:14am on March 28, 2815 A.D. The world instantly broke up and suffered tremendous devastation: the atmosphere was blown off the planet, the oceans boiled away, and all life on the planet died. Nothing was left alive.

There was only one question: did any escape?

That is the question you were sent across trillions of miles to solve. Larson's Folly was the sole planet in the galaxy that held the secret to limitless energy - energy needed to restore the galaxy after a devastating civil war. You must uncover the fate of those who once lived on the planet: did they live to tell the tale or did Larson's Folly become their final destination?

..........................................................................................................

I e-mailed the creator and he told me that it would, like his other games, be a Christian adventure. Don't get turned off if your not a Christian though, because he has another game (which is free) that was a big hit with both Christians and non.Ã,

Ã,  Ã,  He also said that itwould be on-line and in stores. Quote:Ã,
................................................................................................................

Ã,  It will be sold both in boxes in stores and online. I'm pretty sure it will be sold in places like Best Buy and EB Games; I don't know about retailers like Wal-Mart. You will also be able to purchase it online and download it. I also know that the publisher plans to make the game available overseas in Europe but I don't know a lot about that at the moment.

..............................................................................................................

Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã, So there is finally another adventure game in stores!

Moox

I dont know where you shop, but I always see adventures. This looks intresting tho, I might give the site a look.

Bombadil

Mug software? That reminds me of something I cannot remember.... maybe a little more blue...

DCillusion

Most stores where I live have an adventure game section where you can get, almost, every game featured in Just Adventure.  It's sad that some areas are so "Bottom Line" that they only carry Doom games & Sims Expansions.

Most stores here in Portugal have adventure sections too... where I find games like Black Mirror and Journey to the Center of the Earth, yes, but mostly I find Half-Life and Spiderman 2 and the Sims. God, I HATE those people. They should let ME rearrange the whole lot. :P
Reach for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Why don't you? Here in Finland some stores just don't stay under control, (if they even have games sorted into sections, but here I'm talking mostly about music CD's) you find the things on the right starting letter, but that's where order ends.  :=
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

<Calin> Ishmael looks awesome all the time

Heh, next time I'm on a store I think I will.

Near me, all they stock is mainstream console games (which arent THAT bad) and have no PC section at all. I know, I really have to move..
I love the smell of napalm in the morning..
