This has thrown me for a loop, because from the Replay Games talks this seemed explicitly unlikely to happen. They were quite definite that if there was a new Space Quest Mark Crowe wouldn't be involved... what a twist!

And what's more THEY ALREADY HAVE GARY OWENS! YES!

I'm irrationally paranoid that maybe The Two Guys are going off another calendar and are pulling an April Fool's or something. This is too awesome to be true!

Man, remember us when you're sitting in your huge office at the Sierra2 headquarters being illustrative, important, influentual and the "putting letters in ascending alphabetical order after the letter I and using those two letters two choose which word I am going to describe the future Eggie" pattern breaks down there unless I am willing to stoop to "ionian" "ionic" or "ionized" all of which would make me sound like a nerd. I heard a dog burp the other day and it sounded human. At some point this post had a point.

The only thing missing from that cast list is Nolan North. I wasn't aware that you were allowed to make a talkie these days without Nolan North. I thought that was a given.

Good to see a few of the Valve stalwarts there. I hope they get John Patrick Lowrie to voice the protaganist, and make him a fake australian.

A ranch boy is gifted with a colt, grows to love him but the colt escapes, with tragic results. The action begins when Mr. Tiflin gives his son Jody a red pony colt. After falling asleep, Jody dreams of increasingly powerful winds and wakes up to see that the pony is gone. Jody is told by his father that he will be allowed to ride the horse by Thanksgiving. In the night, Jody becomes sleepy in spite of his constant worry and drifts off to sleep, forgetting about the open barn door. After several weeks of training, Jody gets bored. He looks with longing at the great mountains, wishing he could explore them. The morning after his arrival, Carl complains about Grandfather's stories at the breakfast table. The story overall deals with ideas regarding the infallibilities of adults and the entrance into manhood.

P.S.: Andromeda, isn't that some sort of galaxy, or a planet or at least some spiral nebula in outer space (outer space defining every space which is not earth)? Are those guys really aliens?

I'm surprised this hasne't got more discussion here (Although I haven't been here for years so I'm a bit out of the loop). We need support at the Kickstarter page! We seem to have run out of steam on our promotion efforts

. Prototype 2 is due out soon (it was delayed to to health reasons) so hopefully things will pick up a bit. It will be a great loss to the adventure game community if we don't get this campaign funded.

Hehe yeah I should have been more specific. The prototypes are really just demos of some ideas that the guys have. Sort of a thank you for supporting the Kickstarter. It won't be part of the actual game.

Anyway The SpaceVenture Prototype 2 has been released. There are also a whole bunch more Kickstarter Tiers - Something for everybody!

Just attended the first interactive session with some of the people involved. They're going to try and do one every day. The guy, Chris Pope, was very responsive to questions asked.

If they accomplish their KickStarter goal, I will be beyond happiness.

It's pretty unfortunate if it doesn't. Doubly so because of who's behind it. But if it fails, it fails. I'm sure Two Guys LLC has contingency plans.

Yay, They made it! It was a close call. Final pledged amount is $539,767. The actual amount that will go into the game will go down to due to some pledges not going through (card problems) and some money going towards rewards. However this should still be enough for them to make an awesome game. Can't wait!
