"Torin's Passage 2" NEWS ---Part One!

Well, folks...since there has not been much going on, let me announce that OFFICIAL production on "Torin's Passage 2" will begin in about a month!!!!!!

Currently, I am scouting for voicing talent for the game. But, I am also preparing to write up the storyboard for the game, which will include the basic storyline & many other tiny things.

If production does not begin within a month, then I will prolly start production prolly about a week or two after.

I am a very very busy person...School, Pro Wrestling, Chores, & so much stuff...it is just stressing!

But, I will try to begin FULL Production...just getting the storyboard written up & the voicing talent all finalized, it is gonna be rough...but the game itself...will end up a great game for the ages!

Well, I am out of here...for the time being! Stay tuned for my latest news updates...whenever they are posted, you will hear about them!

1. This is the wrong fucking forum. Get it right for once.
2. Quit posting crap, it's annoying. It's obvious what you're trying to do and you should quit before serious action occurs.
3. Why post anything if you aren't working on it yet? Just settle down and get some work down.
4. You shouldn't worry bout voices till you're done. You don't have any characters or plot or dialogue done, so how are you going to cast?

If you ask me, everything you're doing is to get attention and is ultimately a crock of shit. You've made more posts and topics in 3 days than I have in 2 months and you haven't contributed one thing accept senseless arguments comparing two completely different engines. So settle down and only speak when there's something of importance to say.

i guess the one thing LGM said that should be taken to heart is not to worry about voice actors till you're well into development, otherwise they'll just sit around while you work on the game and lose interest

also, i don't know if you know but your first post was moved to the Gen Gen forum:

I think since this applies to the same game maybe you should keep it all in the same thread so you aren't creating a new thread each time something happens and so people can keep track of what's going on.

I've sat back and watched the posts, and I just couldn't take it anymore.

I don't want to be a complete asshole, but it's just frustrating. Especially knowing the fact that he allegedly has done this sort of thing on another fourm.

And let me assure you that I'm nice as could be to new people. I love em'.. Just not when they pull stunts like this..

So sorry, I don't want to come off as an ass.. I'm just irritated.

I love how the offical Torin's Passage 2 game is being made by someone not associated with Sierra.

Not only that, but I love how he's also making a sequel to a shitty game that hardly anyone bought.

I also love how he's making it with SCI and not AGS, even though he's announcing it on the AGS forums.

I can only conclude that Phil Roberts has gonorrhea, which has slowly eaten his testicles before working its way to his brain -- And that's what I call REAL ULTIMATE POWER!!!!!!!!

Okay, on a more serious note, PhilRoberts: I know we all encourage you to develop your game and all, but if you haven't realized, many people are used to seeing projects fail after just a few months of development. Perhaps you should work on a few screenshots, some character design...you know, something to get everyone interested and excited about your project first.

Also, my personal recommendation is that you save voice actors for the last, after you've made the entire game. People probably don't want to spend their time providing voices for something they're not even sure will be completed.
