I was wondering if anyone had used a board game format for an AGS game before? Being a big fan of Arkham Horror, the strange testimony of Jacob hollow and Betrayal at hill house I was curious if anyone had attempted to combine adventure game story telling with randomizer (and wonderful art) of cards?
There was a board game that someone made with AGS years ago, but unfortunately I can't remember the name. Maybe someone here remembers it? I think it was back in the DOS engine days.
With the TCP Plugin, I would LOVE to see an AGS Board game that would be able to be played with players at home, vs the computer and players online. I love board games.
Here's one (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/Newsite/Games.aspx/Detail/627/Power_Unlimited_boardgame) I just happened to find, but the link doesn't work.
Here's a working link: http://the-makers.tripod.com/download/PU_bordgame.zip

Me too, in fact I was already planning to make one for a mags a while back, but I didn't have enough spare time. I still want to make one based on a certain board game. Which one I'm going to keep to myself. ;D
Btw, both links doesn't work for me. I'm really curious about that game now! :)
Hi..
I'm not very sure if this is also a board game that you expect.. It's called Chinese Checkers..

Maybe not, but that's also based on a board games.. ;D
Maan, I'd LOVE an Arkham Horror style game made with AGS.
Mainly because that game takes hours and hours to play and sooner or later someone needs their kiy=tchen table back.
I don't think we've ever finished a game :(
Something along the lines of Atmosfear would be cool, complete with cheesy acting.
