Title: Using "AGS" in my game.
Post by: on Wed 08/11/2006 05:12:19
I know the thread title sounds kinda silly, but let me clarify myself a little.

I'm currently done with 2/3 of my project and have used a room called the "AGS Saloon" where people drink beverages from big blue cups. In the beginning I thought it's OK as it's a non-commercial game. But then I began to think and I realized it's better to check before posting the final game.

Basically, I want to know if it's alright to use an AGS Saloon in my game.

Thanks in advance.

There are lots of games that parody AGS and its community, so feel free :)

Yeah loads of games feature a blue cup in their game somewhere as a nod to AGS. My game mentions a blue cup, but the amount of detail required to make the cup was too much for me. (I kid!)

It sure would be funny. I guess no one really cares that you use the blue cup or other things from AGS. People didn't complain when META got released either. Well maybe because of it's brilliance and bad spelling but that's a whole different story.  :)
