For low-res pixel fonts I recommend the gallery at BitFontMaker2, where you can also make your own.

For high-res, fontspace.com has some free ones if you search for "open font"

I use Dafont and I always find something I can use. Just make sure to hit the "100% free" button in your search

Recently I've just been making my own fonts. It's a bit laborious, but it's quite easy to do. At least for the pixel-art fonts that I need.

But to better answer your question, I remember Zoo977 making quite a few fonts for AGS, which can be found here.

Google has quite a nice collection of fonts which are allegedly all 'open-source'. That said, probably best to check the individual licenses for fonts there before pulling one. https://fonts.google.com/
