I'm looking for examples of games that have successfully (or, actually unsuccessfully works too) used comic-style word balloons for dialogue. You know, these things:

I'll thankfully take any sort of game, though of course, my preference is for adventure games, specifically those made with AGS. Thanks!
Great to see you're 'back in action', Eric!
One example would be "Face of Corruption" by Xenogia. It's not exactly what you're searching for though.
He used comic style dialog boxes - more along the lines when a narrator is introducing a scene or if
a noir character  reminisces about something.
But check it out for yourself: 'Face of Corruption' footage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zKKJtlpzU4)
Umm...
Resonance?
E: Also, Max Payne 1 & 2 ;)
Well, there's BLUE LOBE INC. (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=44683.msg597091#msg597091) by Baron.
And there's of course the new project by Ali, the sequel of Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy!: Nelly Cootalot II: The Fowl Fleet (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=47753.msg636447365#msg636447365)
Thanks guys! I'd forgotten about Resonance. For some reason, I was thinking it had a dialogue system similar to Gemini Rue.
If you all think of others, let me know!

Well BLUE LOBE INC. never made it past the drawing board last year (although it has recently been resurrected!). However I did use the same system for CLEVELAND 1968 (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=47315.0), which can be played or just watched on You Tube. I didn't use any module, but I understand there is one.
Thanks, Baron! I'm going to give Cleveland 1968 a download next week and see how your dialogue system worked. I might PM you for more details later.
