Zak McKraken 1 Bug

I've been playing Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders using ScummVM.  It's been working beautifully so far.  Now, after I got the crystal from the Seattle cave, I walk back to the airport and buy a ticket for San Francisco.  When I walk onto the plane, it says the usual "After an enjoyable flight later..." and about three seconds into that screen, it cuts to some kinda' ScummVM debug controller.  It says to type 'exit' to return to the game.  So I do so, and it flashes the "After an enjoyable flight later..." screen for about half a second before ScummVM shuts itself down.  I was wondering if somebody could help me with the bug or maybe send me a saved game of right after that back in San Francisco?
