Looks cool!  It totally reminds me of playing Shogun when I was a kid. :)

Will there be a Chinese translation?

Is the sprites I see in the 2nd screenshot pizza. Even though that might be pizza, let me give you a word of advice CHINA NEVER INVENTED PIZZA, in fact archaeologists have found Chinese noodles but no pizza. In fact if pizza were Chinese, it would be put in a Chinese restaurant. Just some advice, not clearing picking on you. Nice graphics=great game, a formula for success.

What? Not at all...

shayavr, it's better to load up pngs or gifs instead of jpgs, they don't look that blurry.

Maybe the Pizza was exported. Anyway, what pizza? The garbage on the floor? If so, you question the odds on pizza being in china but not the fact they'd eat it off the floor?  :-\

I think they're piles of leaves, and that person over there is sweeping them into said piles.

Uh anyway, I like the charm these simple graphics have. It reminds me of Another World.

Heh, you're putting me to shame! I've thought about doing a China-based game for the longest time, being Chinese, but I'm sad to admit that my written Chinese sucks. And it looks like you're using olden Chinese, whereas I'm more familiar with the simplified script. If you need anyone to check the authenticity of your Chinese though, let me know. :)

There is no need to check the authenticity of the Chinese in this game, teh text in the shots (including to the shots in the game's own page) are just random characters put together without meaning. :P

I did figure that out, but I also saw that he had put in effort to do some research - the text in the GUI buttons are generally correct. If I'm not wrong the character for "wait" is also used as the wait cursor. :) So if he does want help with the rest of the text, I can always ask one of my friends whose written Chinese is better than mine.

the chinese characters are random , but i want to change this to something real. since my chinese vocabulary is very limited to "where is the train station" and "tommorrow it will rain" and so on, i would like to ask anyone who can assist me in translating to english and pinyin (so i can find characters jpegs)
for example maybe this text for a throne room:

and there are no pizzas in the game (yet..)

Will it include a Chinese-Checkers mini game? (Although I don't know if that is actually a Chinese game.... Wikipedia time!

But so far, so good! I love the graphic style, especially the overview map.

Wpowell:
Right, the chinese didn't invent the pizza, but you invented the floor pizza! ;D
(Or call it the garbage pizza)

Shayavr:
Enjoyed the Pirates Tale, good luck with your next project! ;)

There is one thing in the garbage-piles picture:
These piles seem somehow to float a little above the ground?

Well, we could just leave it to the creator, and if they want help on creating easy to spot leaf piles, they can just ask!

(Like.. maybe less red leaves...)

Anyway, it's the characters I like the most.  :)
