Hallo, I'm Glen Darlington, a new guy to both AGS and to the AGS forums. I'm working on my first project in AGS, a game called "Hellbound." The story goes as follows: you play Willie, a geeky, somewhat unkempt fellow who during a wet dream accidentally gets sent to Hell. Your mission? Get out!

Using AGS' easy features (and perhaps with time, more advanced features of scription), I intend to make a medium-long length game that pokes fun at the Hereafter, and will attempt to make gratuitous sex, violence and language funny somehow. (Whether I succeed really depends.)

Work has been progressing steadily the last couple of days (although I've had some stuff made before the last couple of days), and I've completed a one-room demo to prove to myself that, yes, even a non-programmer like myself can make something in AGS. Ah, isn't technology wonderful? :D

As for a release date, I won't say. For one, there are quite a few variables to take into account. At the absolute shortest, I'd say the game would take six months to make, but I'm sure it'll take longer. (Hey, gotta be realistic!)

Will I ever finish something everyone else can see? Will I become the laughing stock of AGS? Will Larry Vales find competition? Will I ever stop this post? (Maybe, maybe, not likely, and yes - right now!)

Welcome!
That sounds like a good game idea, but do you have any screenshots or anything to show us? I shure would like to see some...

Rincewind

Yeah, I agree - I really like the plot, but a screenie or two wouldn't be wrong... ;D
Good luck, man!

Sounds fun :D certainly is a great idea LMAO. I guess by wet dream, you don't mean wetting the bed ;D

And yeah, screenshots!
