Title: A Day in his Shoes
Post by: Moox on Thu 22/01/2004 03:48:24
Well I have been toying around with this engine for a week and I have just decided to make my first game. Its going to be a tormented version of highschool. Here is the plot....

Dusty, a special education kid that everyone likes, loses his favorite keychain somewhere at school, and you must find it. You will go through the halls of WCHS performing tasks to earn the keychain.
The game will feature characters that I believe give it humor. For instance, Lorenzo, he has long hair that hides his face, so I will try to make his character look like Cousin It. It will feature at least 10 characters, 15 task items, and 9 rooms. An early screenshot will be up soon.

Wilco used for testing purposes

the front doors:

detention: (swastika will be changed asap, i just used a screenshot from call of duty for the room

i say keep the swastika! that's what detention feels like. facism.
just some queries about the art. are you gonna edit the detention so it looks more like the doors? also possible work on the perspective. the path lines are diagonal but the bricks are straight..

It sounds good. Keep it up.
I think the lines should be thinner.

maybe you should replace all the textures, and draw your own walls, roof, ground, door... etc...  But im not gonna play the game anyway, because there is a nazi flag involved. I say, put the past behind you, dammit! Don't make jokes about WWII, it was terrible

And NO im not 70 years old, and I haven't seen the war, but still.... *ducktapes his mouth*
