So like, everyone showing their projects and stuff, so i thought about showing mine too.
It's an experimental project. A survival-horror-like game that makes the player anxious and stressed. Not like the game is crap and people will get mad at it, it's just that the music, soundscape, artistic direction and all makes the player feels like hes in constant danger, a suspense game.
About the history, it's like this till now:
A train that never arrives.
A dream that never ends.
A World that never was.
You find yourself on a mysterious building, you just woke up there after a nap on your train. You find a note on your pocket: The train is gonna crash. Get out of here or hundreds of people will die.
Now it's up to you to solve the puzzles, find the treasures and get out of this hellish place, that is commanded by an evil, supernatural force.
Now, pictures:

I'm actually needing some expert to help me do the coding, the effects anc such. Already got an Sound Technician and I do the grafics and the historyline.
I'm working with a resolution of 640x440 and 32bit sound and graphics.
SOOO that's it for a while. Questions?

I love pictures of worn places. I hope this is going to be creepy!
Goldensox, as I've said in the Critics Lounge, please resize and place your images "up and down", not side-by-side.
This thread is aweful to read/navigate.

i'm fixing all pictures with the correct resolution and changing this crappy host. just you guys wait and will make it look beautiful.
I think as long as you're not using 800x600 or below, the dimension of the images are fine.
The problem is, they are put side by side into a single row which messed up the page. :P
You can just edit your post by at least adding an Enter between images. That will fix most of the problems. :P
Okay the new pictures are up and i'm working on some new ones for the divulgation.
I'd like to comment that one of the guys that are following my work came up with a question: Wait a f'king second, the wasnt on a train?
In fact, i haven't told you guys that the train only appears in the beginning and on another scene near the end, I can't give more info than that.
Any questions, sugestions and 'someone please apply as sound technician'ions would be awesome.
Are these in-game screenshots? Where's the cursor?
SSH is right. I think we (or at least me) were more concerned about the thread being messed up and never noticed.
Goldensox, you must post at least two screenshots of the game as it is being played.
If you can't produce such pictures, this thread will have to be locked until further notice.
But please don't take this offensively either. Those are some good shots you've taken and the story sounds nice (we need more horror games ;) ).
Are you in the scripting fase yet or just taking pictures?

I'm making a lot of things on the same time. The storyline is still being made, as much as the scripting and the pictures. I'm editing a lot of pictures and I hope to achieve the desired effect, which take a lot of time and work.
Back to the script, I wish i had some scripter on my team, cause my team is currently a one-man studio, and I'm sure I will never achieve the desired quality alone.
edit:
Theeeeeeere you go.
Strange choose one so realistic graphic, but maybe a nice try!
I'm waiting for your game!
Wow, this seems pretty interesting.
My question is where are you getting your photos and props from?
Yeah, where is this place you're taking these photos.
If the game is a hit, maybe you can charge people for tours of it. It's really pretty spooky.
It's probably some abandoned building. My brother goes to those all the time to take picture. Old houses, empty factory's.
I still can't stand that sideways picture. If you want me to believe that I'm the character and I'm looking through his eyes and I'm controlling his actions, don't force me to tilt my head.

It's called a Dutch angle, and is usually used to enhance the level of unease. It's difficult to judge when to use it, though, and goldensox's angle might be a little
too severe for such a visually busy environment. Regardless, it's a suitable visual technique to use in this sort of game.
Nice pictures too. :)

The photos were taken in Aberdeen, Scotland. They're from an artist whose I frgot the name now but soon I will comment on him.
The photos were taken inside a abandoned factory, an abandoned special child hospital and tunnels. I'm using all of them in the game, but the map, the proximity ad other things will be fictitious.
