Amsterdamned: Coffeeshop Trouble

this is a first screenie of a game that i'm making.

I don't have much plans of this game, but the first part of the story will be that Bob must to solve some troubles as to pay bills, attract some customers , get enough weed. That all for his new coffeeshop that he got from just died uncle that own that coffeeshop.

It'll get much humors, puzzles and more! and much specials about Amsterdam like canals, coffeeshops, whores, tulips and more.
IT'LL BE VERY COOL GAME!!

it still didn't work, but thats geocities for you! i always get problems, but putting the picture on a page helps, or i looked at it by going to the directory:

Actually, dragging teh image address to teh address bar worked for geocities files.

i think they use some kind of blocker to stop ppl using the sites for posting and linking pictures

Actually they don't allow hotlinking, so you can link to an image directly from other pages, but you can link to a html page containing images I think.

You can have several options:
1. Just provide link to the image, and add a line of text like "(drag link to address bar)" to remind readers.
2. Just make a simple web page, puts the images on it, and post the link here.
3. Use something like "anomizer.com" (I don't know the correct address), which when you add something to prefix the image address, it can trick geocities to provide the image for hotlinking.
4. Use some *free* image hosting services that allow hotlinking, like www.villagephotos.com
5. Pay for some decent web spaces.

The guy looks like the boy in the little game... johnny something it was, anyways in that game a little boy is trap in a basement or something, and the theme from Candyman plays at the backround.

Looks nice, but the character does look like a Little Jonny Evil-clone with dreadlocks.

I noticed the strong LJE resemblance as well.  Looks good at any rate, though.

That character is a total rip-off of Kandyman's character...

See for yourself, play LJE. All you did was make him black, change his hair and cloths...

Make your own character, man.

I don't think Kandy will be very pleased if he see's this.

Tycho you're a thief I know you've been using this AGS for less than a month but it's just not done ripping shit of each other. And if you're really too lazy to draw a character yourself or really to clumpsy , steal one from a Major Company and have the lawsuit.

How do you think people will take this sh*t ?

hi people, I understand you're angry I'm sorry, but it's only a pratice to drawning, that is the only character in game  too( I want to made more then 20) , I want to remember you all that my playercharacter is not completed yet of course, much to change. I only borrow johhny evil form for ONE frame( Reason: because I saw johnny've like stoned eyes) . I already this week changed a some things on character.

and C'mon guys everybody steals in his first AGS game!
they steal jokes, ideas all from other ags games, it's no biggie.
I think tychooo made a great character out of LJE and thats a verry clever way of finding out the correct sizes for a character in AGS.
don't be to hard on him
