I've decided I'm gonna make a samurai game!! ;D
So, if anyone can donate samurai graphics or resources, or wateva! it would be awesome.

why would anyone wanna make sprites for a game they know nothing about?? Maybe post some plot info and ideas this is the Games in production forumn maybe some screen shots of your character art, background art, ya' know someproof your devoted to it....

OK, u wanna know the storyline for my game??
Well if any of u computer geeks know about samurai and read books, you might know about MUSASHI its a book by Eiji Yoshikawa about the life of the real person Miyamoto Musashi, the most famous samurai that ever lived.
Well my game is pretty much a remake of that book, 'cept a bit different Eg. different character names.

But I will be giving alot of credit to Eiji, and I will post some of the game graphics,  :D

Oh yea, sorry, I didnt actually tell you the storyline of the game, [oops] :P

Well, Musashi was a travelling ronin {masterless samurai} who travelled the country studying swordsmanship. It starts off at the battle of Sekigahara in the year 1600 {i think  ;)} and Takezo { musashi's name before he changed it} and he and his best friend Matahachi decided to join the army, hopefully getting on the battlefield and killing a general [in their dreams] anyway the battle begins and Takezo's side loses, him and matahachi and knocked out, and wake up in a deserted battlefield, full of corpses. They get away from the battle field battered and bruised, and find a house, two women live in the house, Oko, and her daughter Akemi, Oko lets the two hide out in the woodshed, but when things cool down, Oko lets them live in the house.
The four become like a family, but there's some bad guy that Oko is 'seeing' [i cant remember exactly i'll have to read the book again] well, the guy doesnt like matahachi and takezo, cuz he was on the other army, anyway, it turns out that Oko sends Akemi out all the time to salvage things from the dead soldiers on the battle field, and the bad dude wouldnt like that, so when the four of them are hiding stuff in the roof and floor, Takezo comes across a black oak sword, he asks Oko if he can keep it, and she lets him, Matahachi is a bit pissed off cuz theres no sword for him, but he finds a nice purse  :D.
Anyway, I hav'nt read the book in a while, so if ya dont get something I'll explain it later.
I gotta go now, so I'll explain the rest later

 ;) hey, Im back, so I'll explain some more of the story.

Ok, where were we up to?, oh yes, Takezo just got the black oak sword!
Alrighty, so something else happens, {once again my memory has failed me} and the bad dude comes with some thugs, and Matahachi fights the thugs, while Takezo chases the bad dude and they have a fight, and Takezo kills the bastard. Anyway, now Takezo and Matahachi cango back to they're village, but Matahachi does'nt wanna come, and Oko wants him to marry Akemi, but Matahachi already has a fiancee' waiting for him. I'll read some more tonight, as I havent read the book in a while, if you wanna find out what happens next, your either gonna have to wait or read the book!
