So yeah I'm makin a sequel.

Many years after those other things happened, our hero Rolande wakes up in a darkened room and things start to happen again.

The story begins amid the ancient ruins of the Lost People. Centuries ago they built an enormous city here, but they never lived in it. Why not? Nobody knows. Living things still haunt the ruins. Something is sleeping far beneath the earth. Rolande comes to the ruins looking for an old friend, and things kind of spiral out from there.

FEATURING!
* Listless ghosts!
* Creepy fairies!
* The mysterious ruins of an ancient civilization!
* Puzzles involving runic magic!
* Original soundtrack up the whazoo!
* Terrible graphics!

Here is a teaser!

I recently finished the game, and I was wondering what are you up to. :D
Looks fantastic!

On some criticism about the first game, I'd prefer if some stuff weren't exactly seen. For instance the

. It would make the game so much awesome if i never saw them. Generally the first game kept me with its great atmosphere and music, graphics had some charm, the puzzles were great. I just felt some parts of the game could work better with more mystery resolved around them.

I still love you and all.  ;)
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

this is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me

Mr Flibble

You know when I read the title, I was going to post in whatever the thread was for a joke, to say "That sounds like a sequel to How They Found Silence"  :=

I'm thrilled to see you're making this and I wish you the best of luck. I just happened to chance upon the first game a few weeks ago, and I really enjoyed it.
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!

The evil doll returns!  ;D

...or does it?

Anyway, this game has an intriguing title as well as the first one.

Fantastic! I've been waiting for another Rolando game. I loved the lore of the last game, especially since it felt like you were setting up a larger world for us to explore. It'll be interesting to see if

Malacastor returns. He was definitely the creepiest element of the last game.

Most of all, I'm hoping that the game will clear up one major mystery... The purpose of the mysterious rope!  :P

I'm looking forward to it!

Thank you for your kind words, everyone! You build me up.

Also: Here is a TEASER! No puzzles, but you can do some clicking.

nice,

my tip: try using another color for Archangel's text, it is too difficult to see not even read :)
but very, very interesting
