Hello again,
Well, I've started work on my first big game. It will be ready "when it's done". :-)
Fantizzia
The adventures of Sophie Mclain
Plot outline
A young orphan, Sophie, now living in a dingy girls bording school run by a miserable old woman finds herself locked in her room after a run in with the school bullies in the dining hall. Thankfully we are quickly extracted from what seems like an awful cliche and transported in to an even bigger cliche when a small Dwarf appears and transports Sophie to an alternate fantasy universe, with the alluring promise of being able to reunite her with her missing parents.
Screenshots are all works in progress.

A new protagonist in design, because the place holder sprite can only last so long.
Please forgive any place holder graphics, such as ugly gui, inventory items and the portal. It's really early development!
Looks pretty nifty! I'm a sucker for alternate universe stuff. :P
Just love that SCUMM interface!
Oh my God! The last screenshot looks just like Zangarmarsh!
I like it
This looks great!!! I'll add this to my list of "games I'm impatiently awaiting"
Looks good, though good. Go get us more..
Seems really interesting. I love the art style. :)
Looking forward to playing this one. ;)
The story looks promising, and able to hold a lot of stuff to make a long game.
And the graphics are awesome, although you should try to put more than 2 kinds of mushrooms in that background, although maybe that's place horder too?

Thanks to all the nice comments so far. Yes, there will be more mushrooms, at the moment things lack depth but it's important to get everything mapped out and scripted correctly.
I'm playing with a few game mechanics at the moment. This game allows you to make your character run for a short time (before she runs out of breath and has to take a rest... bless) so there will be timed puzzles, running away from things and so forth.
As for the story, you're right - the whole alternate universe thing allows for a long story and that's just what I intend to do.
Looks great! I'll be really looking forward to this one.
