FLASBAX:The Prequel

All thou theres a bit of a divide in who likes or who dislikes FLASHBAX 1

i had a plan from day 1 to do a Prequel.

Sweet, sounds good to me! I'm still working on Flashbax and so far I love it.. In fact, when I read some of the comments in the Flashbax announcement thread, I was very shocked because, in my opinion, this is one of the best AGS games out there. From what I've played so far, Flashbax's artwork, animation, story, and dialog are all impressive and very well-done.

Anyway, good luck and I hope to see this one soon.

I'd like to see what happened before as well.  and will be looking forward to what you have planned.. I mean any game where you can pee.. whats better than that right?

Theres a lot of response to FLASHBAX 1....good and bad.

I`m toying with the idea of a vulgar/violence button....

so the player can adjust how the game will play...

might not make it in the final version.

If it does`nt cause to many bugs it`ll be in there.

That 2nd screenshot reminds me of Apocalypse Now.  Intentional?

My inspiration comes from lots of places.

Apocalypse Now is a great film.

Even the ending....but you probaly guessed i`d like that.

Intentional....maybe in a subliminal way.

The first screen is inspired by Bladerunner. shame it don`t look as good as the intro to the film.

Yeah I can see that one too.  Its more obvious in fact.  The thing about Blade Runner is that it was so influencial on the look of sf films in general that you might not even realize you're inspired by it.  But the Apocalypse Now, if intentional, was a brilliantly subtle homage.
