Grim Quest takes place in the small town of Florinville where the player is hired for the removal of strange demonic creatures that have been plaguing the area.
Little does our adventurer know that the source of demonic presence is unlimited and he will have to solve intricate puzzles and quests not only in Florinville but also in much darker evil lands to be discovered.  Grim Quest includes 3 male and 3 female characters, Fighter, Thief, and a Wizard.

We could desperately use Artists, Programmers, Sound Designers and any other game related personnel to help with this freeware game.
All contributors will be included in the credits.

P.S. We are currently doing an entire graphical re-design.

So far we have completed the following parts of the game:

Selection of 6 characters, Male and female.

I apolagize to the moderators and users but this game appears to be a controversial issue which this community does not appreciate, I'll be taking my game elsewhere.
Thanks to all who have been kind enough to help me on this.May the lord richly bless you in all your ways.

The game isn't half as controversial as the text beneath your avatar ;) Just kidding.

Give it some time.
I for one rarely ever reply to GiP threads, and if you look at other threads you'll note that they aren't that long either, save for some that have been around for months or feature very professional art, those get comments all the time.

You opened the thread a mere five days ago; in addition you did a nice job of describing your game which in turn prevents questions about it.

As counterintuitive as it might seem, bad GiP threads often generate a lot more comments because people have to ask what the game is about or complain that there aren't enough screenshots.

Khris, I'm guessing it was something that happened on IRC that I was shockingly not there for, rather than lack of response on this thread.

Before this degenerates into an off-topic discussion about ... anything ...

GrimReapYou - don't be discouraged (by IRC or lack of responses) just keep making your game!  However, if you want I can lock this thread if you're not going to contribute to it anymore!  It's your choice, just let me know!

Agreed, the screenshots look like fun.  Don't give up based on responses (or lack thereof) to your game on here.  Good luck.

This is way too buggy:

After visiting the shop, the character lost all the equipment (just visually).
When I want to interact with an inv item, the mouse cursor disappears.
Clicking on shop buttons doesn't yield any response. I couldn't buy stuff although I got the gold from the first room.

After leaving the house, when I try to leave at the left side, I get:
An internal error has occurred. Please note down the following information.
If the problem persists, post the details on the AGS Technical Forum.
(ACI version 3.12.1074)

Error: prepare_script: error -18 (no such function in script) trying to run 'hHotspot1_WalkOn'   (Room 6)

Yea, i apolagize for the bugs, I've recently removed all the statistics that depended on global variables to add them to structs which pretty much temporarily killed the battle shop and other systems.
I'm mostly wanting to test the reaction to the items in the first room.
I dont think the follow char method for displaying items will be a feasable means of multiplayer item usage.
instead we must come up with some sort of drawing function or sumething alot less processor dependant.

Thanks for trying it kris!!

Okay, I edited most of the bugs out of it.
I need people to test the item interactions in room 1 with other users and let me know if they find it to be acceptable.
If it is not acceptable i will start using draw functions instead.
If it is acceptable i will enable support for all items gamewide.

So please try it out with your friends and let me know.

Oh man that's a bummer!

Let me know if you get back to it and I'll unlock this!

I hope you pick it back up!  I liked how this was improving and where it was headed!
